Position Summary

We are looking for a Medior Test Automation Engineer with strong analytical and technical skills to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions. This role combines quality assurance expertise with software engineering principles, requiring the ability to create manual and automated test scenarios, maintain test coverage, review automation code, and continuously improve testing frameworks and practices.

During your first months, you will participate in a comprehensive onboarding and training program focused on security principles, company processes, and our products. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the application landscape and build the knowledge needed to navigate and support it confidently. As your expertise grows, you will take ownership of developing and maintaining reports, ensuring accurate and meaningful business insights. Once you have mastered the reporting environment and gained a strong understanding of the products and data, you will have opportunities to expand your responsibilities and pursue further career growth and specialization within the team over the following years.

Typical Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute testing activities for new application features and releases.
• Review requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify missing, incomplete, or ambiguous specifications.
• Own and maintain testing scope for assigned functional modules.
• Design, create, and maintain manual test scenarios and test suites.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests using existing test automation frameworks.
• Monitor and continuously improve manual and automated test coverage across the application.
• Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of new testing tools, frameworks, and technologies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support their resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Contribute to automation code reviews and promote testing best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate business use cases into effective test scenarios.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and automated test maintenance.
• Understanding of software development principles and code quality practices.
• Ability to maintain an overview of test coverage and ensure adequate testing of application functionality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams.
• English level - minimum requirement - B2 (professional user)

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Java.
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Claude).
• Experience evaluating or implementing new testing technologies and frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated testing pipelines.

Deine Aufgaben

• Erfassen jeglicher Börsentransaktionen unserer Kunden (Trade & Cash) wie Money Transfers, Corporate Actions, Private Equity etc.
• Überwachen und Betreuen der automatischen Transaktions-, Positions- und Stammdatenverarbeitung mit unserer Software-Schnittstelle zu verschiedenen internationalen Depotbanken
• Veredeln der Wertschriftenstammdaten sowie verifizieren und betreuen der automatischen Kursversorgung
• Durchführen der täglichen und monatlichen Abstimmung der Wertpapiergeschäfte unserer Kunden sowie die Bereinigung erkannter Differenzen
• Erarbeiten von Lösungen, die auf die Kundenwünsche zugeschnitten sind
• Unterstützung der Kunden in der täglichen Verwendung unseres Produktes sowie First und Second Level Support am Telefon oder via Customer Portal

Dein Profil

• Kaufmännische Grundausbildung, mit ausgeprägtem Zahlenflair
• Gute Bankfachkenntnisse vorausgesetzt
• Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Wertschriftenadministration und/oder Settlement
• Stilsicheres Deutsch und gute Englischkenntnisse
• Flexibilität, Belastbarkeit und Durchsetzungsvermögen
• Gute MS-Office Kenntnisse
