You will help shape the valuation capabilities of our PM1 platform, connecting clients, business stakeholders and delivery teams. Your financial expertise and analysis will translate business needs into clear specifications and reliable product functionality.

Your responsibilities

· Analyse valuation requirements and identify product innovations and improvements, covering valuation logic and calculations, market data, FX management, risk and across portfolios containing equities, bonds, funds, structured products, derivatives, non-bankable assets, and alternative investments.

· Translate requirements for product innovation initiatives and client-commissioned changes into clear functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining consistency and traceability throughout delivery.

· Specify and validate valuation processes, data flows and interfaces involving custodian banks, data providers, core banking platforms and client systems.

· Investigate valuation discrepancies, assess market and position data, and help ensure consistent portfolio, performance and reporting results.

· Work with clients, client services, development, and other departments to clarify requirements, support testing and implementation, and validate and approve functionality against agreed specifications.

· Analyse and coordinate product support requests, including defects, configuration enquiries and enhancements, supporting triage, prioritisation and resolution.

· Provide specialist expertise in client workshops and demonstrations, maintain product documentation and deliver internal training. Develop your valuation expertise and knowledge of the wider PM1 platform.

Your Profile

· A qualification in banking, business or finance, together with experience in product, business or technical analysis, or a related role within banking, wealth management, asset management, a family office or financial software technology.

· Portfolio management and valuation knowledge, including securities, position keeping, prices and currencies, and an understanding of how valuations support performance measurement, risk analysis and reporting.

· Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, preparing functional specifications and acceptance criteria, and reviewing delivered functionality against them.

· A structured, analytical and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and collaborate effectively with clients, business specialists and technical teams.

· Practical technical understanding is beneficial, particularly how data, interfaces and software processes support business needs. Software development experience and programming skills are not required.

· An interest in AI and its potential to improve financial software, analysis and business processes is an advantage.

· Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer who combines strong expertise in test automation with practical experience using AI in a professional environment.

In addition to designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, you will help advance our existing AI-assisted testing initiatives. We already use AI to support the creation of automated tests from manual test scenarios and are looking for someone who can help further improve, scale, and operationalize these capabilities.

This role is ideal for a senior professional who enjoys combining software quality, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and testing effectiveness.

During your first months, you will participate in a comprehensive onboarding and training program focused on security principles, company processes, and our products. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the application landscape and our testing ecosystem, enabling you to contribute both to day-to-day quality assurance activities and to the further development of our automation and AI-assisted testing capabilities.
